There are various of well known celebrities that are carrying these pets around. That is because the puggle is a cute and amazing dog it is the result of when a buggle and a pug are bred together it makes an ideal pet for so many reasons. If you are looking for an easy to love, happy go lucky little puppy that is just adorable, then this just might be the right pet for you.

Puggles seem to have the best characteristics from each of their parents

They have short snouts that are often flanked with a few wrinkles. They have long, drooping ears like the beagle. They are short, small cute pets (from 10 to 16 inches tall and weighing in at 13 to 25 pounds fully grown which makes them quite ideal especially when you will want to pick up and carry this dog around. They also have a coat that is easy to maintain because it is short but soft. In fact, it is one of the best coats for those that have allergies to pet fur because it does not shed its fur.

There Temperament

One of the most important things to look at when looking at dog breeds is their temperament. This is their mood and attitude. For the puggle, you will find that they are quite easy going little pups. They allow their owners to pick up and carry them about and love the attention that they get. They are also good with a child which makes them perfect for the home with children living there. They are not aggressive at all. They will do well with all children but are very good with older children. They are also good with having other pets, even other dogs, around too. Also, they are not overly energetic dogs. While they will play with you and the children, they are not going to be overall bearing about it. They are okay to cuddle with and love.

The Care Of A Puggle

Taking care of a puggle, you will expect to do about the normal for all short haired pets. You should give him a brushing several times per week. You will also need to brush his teeth as you would your own. And, you will need to trim down his nails regularly, once you have learned how to properly do this. The dog will need to be bathed every few weeks at the least and will maintain his cleanliness.
The Puggles life span of about 12 to 15 years

They are born in all shades and colours with most being black, tan, or black and white. There are also tri color blends. When you see these pets, you will fall deeply in love with them because puggle dogs are nothing short of adorable cute, easy to love dogs.

The Basic Bark

A Cute loveable and very popular dog known as the puggle has a smaller version and if this was a computer system it would be called the puggle lite. In the doggy world we call them pocket puggles. These dogs are the newest hottest trend from New York to Hollywood with some high profile celebrities such as Kelly Osbourne sporting her cute little pocket puggle friend around town. From research I have heard that there is no such breed as a pocket puggle but until I get to the bottom of this lets just say that pocket puggles are very cute.

What’s there not to say about a Puggle? Or even what is a Puggle? A Puggle is a crossbreed between what Puggle sounds like, a Pug and a Beagle. Their cute, small, and so precious, perfect as a family pet, or even someone who is single. This all around loveable dog, is perfect to have because it is not hypoallergenic and low maintenance. An occasional bath, tooth brushing, nail clipping and ear cleaning all seem to do the job to keep these little fella’s happy.

Puggles weigh about 15-30 pounds and from the shoulders, stand about 13-15 inches. You can find a Puggle in just about any colour, but most are found in a fawn colour with a black wrinkled face (looks almost like a mask) similar to the Pug. You can find Puggles all black, or even multicoloured, but no matter what colour you get them in, they all tend to have a long body, floppy ears, and a long nose, just like the Beagle.

Puggles are on their way to Stardom, and are all over T.V. If I was the founder of the Puggle, I’d be patting myself on the back right now because this is one species of dog that is here to stay for a long, long time.
